September Equinox
To earn the September Equinox souvenir by logging any geocache, Event, or Adventure Lab® Location during the souvenir period between September 19th–22nd, 2026.
International EarthCache Day 2026
Since 2004 EarthCaches have encouraged geocachers to explore and cunderstand the extraordinary geologic features of our planet.
Earn the International EarthCache Day 2026 souvenir by visiting any EarthCache and completing the logging requirements between Friday 9th October 9 through to Sunday 11th October 2026.
Treasure Collections
Pirate Treasure
September 22nd sees the release of the next Treasure Collection, Pirate Treasure. To collect these swashbuckling Treasures, geocachers must find and log Mystery Caches or Multi-Caches with a difficulty rating of 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, or 4.
Bingo 2026
Collect Treasure by finding any geocache with at least 1 favourite point. Collect five Treasures in a row for a bingo souvenir, or collect all 25 Treasures in the collection to earn the blackout souvenir.
Players can earn up to four souvenirs for collecting Bingo 2026 Treasures.
- Bingo 2026: Vertical Bingo
- To earn this souvenir, collect five bingo square Treasures that appear on your bingo card in a vertical row.
- Bingo 2026: Horizontal Bingo
- To earn this souvenir, collect five bingo square Treasures that appear on your bingo card in a horizontal row.
- Bingo 2026: Diagonal Bingo
- To earn this souvenir, collect five bingo square Treasures that appear on your bingo card in a diagonal line.
- Bingo 2026: Blackout Bingo
- To earn this souvenir, complete a blackout by collecting a Treasure for every square on your bingo card.
There is also a ‘Secret Bingo Souvenir’.
To secure the extra souvenir simply log the Travel Bug TB: 194768 as ‘Discovered’. These are the blue numbers on the bingo card in the correct numerical order. As soon as you’ve logged the Travel Bug as “Discovered”, the secret bonus souvenir will be credited to your account.
Retiring collections
HQ will retire three collections at the end of the year: Making Memories, Celebrating 25 years, and Event mementos. These collections will be available for players to complete through December 31, 2026.
