9US Celebrate International Geocaching Day

GCBYGTE 9US Return to Porthdinllaen by 9 Usual Suspects Event D1/T2.5

Porthdinllaen a perfect location to celebrate International Earthcache Day, beautiful scenery, a landscape full of natural features highlighted by 12 earthcaches and a pub!

We were very lucky as the weather God smiled on us again… after the previous days cold strong wind and the heavy showers I thought we might only get as far as Tŷ Coch Inn. But the weather was perfect for a walk around Porthdinllaen head. As the tide was in we walked from the National Trust car park through the golf course to the pub discovering an earthcache en route. Once we secured an outside table we all enjoyed a beer and admired the view. I think we all would have been quite happy to spend the afternoon sitting there drinking beer and chatting but we were on a mission to discover all the earthcaches.
The walk was stunning, even spotted a seal, the tide had dropped to allow us to walk back via the beach, just a great way to spend a sunny October Sunday afternoon.
