Gromits Team are here on holiday from Germany, they would like to meet local and not so local cachers to discuss our fascinating hobby and swap TB’s.
June Solstice 2026 Souvenir
Here in the UK the summer solstice occurs on June 21st and marks the official start of astronomical summer in the Northern Hemisphere with the longest day and shortest night of the year.
To earn the souvenir find and log any geocache, Event, or Adventure Lab® Location from Saturday 20th to Monday 22nd June.
Lôn Eifion Cycle Path Closure Update
The latest from the council:
Repair work to begin on Lôn Eifion
We are pleased to confirm that contractors have been appointed to carry out repair work on a section of the Lôn Eifion path which has been closed following storm damage.
Following significant damage caused by severe weather over the winter, a section of Lôn Eifion between Penygroes and the Inigo Jones site, Y Groeslon has been closed.
After undertaking a detailed survey of the damage, repair plans have been prepared and contractors will begin work on the path from 20 April onwards.
The work is expected to be completed within a month, and we will share an update when this section of Lôn Eifion reopens.
So we are expecting the path to reopen any day now…..
